Extended Emergency Road Service

AAA Plus and AAA Plus RV significantly enhance the Basic Emergency Road Service benefits available to members.

Whereas Basic AAA membershp includes towing five miles in any direction or back to the station, AAA Plus provides coverage up to 100 miles in any direction. AAA Plus RV provides up to 100 miles of towing as well as coverage for your recreational vehicle, which includes motorhomes, travel and boat trailers, cars, vans, pickups with campers, and motorcycles.

AAA Plus

Enhanced AAA Plus services include:

100 miles of towing
in any direction from the point of the disablement to the destination of the member's choice.
Mechanical first aid
We will attempt minor mechanical and electrical adjustments to make the eligible vehicle operable, as long as replacement parts are not required. If the vehicle can not be started within a reasonable time, we will tow the vehicle.
Fuel delivery service
With Basic services, fuel is your expense. AAA Plus service provides an emergency supply of fuel (if available) at no charge.
Lock-out service
Our Basic membership covers up to $50 in locksmithing fees if you need to retrieve your ignition keys to operate the vehicle. AAA Plus covers up to $100 per disablement for additional locksmith services, such as key making, if required to make the vehicle operable.
Winching service
With AAA Plus, a second truck and driver will provide winching service for up to one hour at the scene at no charge. This benefit does not cover pulling vehicles up or down driveways or streets because of lack of traction due to ice or snow.

AAA Plus RV

AAA Plus RV includes all Basic and AAA Plus services as well as the following services:

100 miles of towing
For eligible recreational vehicles, which include motorhomes, travel and boat trailers, cars, vans, pickups with campers, and motorcycles. In the event of a breakdown of a vehicle towing a travel or boat trailer, the trailer will be towed to the nearest place of safekeeping en route to the repair facility.
Tire change
For eligible RVs.
Winching
For eligible RVs including the use, if required, of a second service vehicle and service person for up to one hour at the scene.
An emergency supply of fuel (if available)
At no charge, for eligible RVs. This benefit does not include delivery of fuel for a portable or onboard generator or any type of boat engine, snowmobile, or jet ski.

Limitations concerning service for boat trailers:

  • Costs associated with removing a boat from a boat trailer, if necessary prior to towing, tire changing or winching, are your responsibility.
  • Winching coverage does not include retrieving boat trailers immersed in water.
  • Coverage for boat trailers on designated boat launching ramps will be provided to the water's edge.

Service outside AAA Washington/Inland's area

AAA Plus RV coverage is available throughout the United States and Canada. However, slight variations in service delivery may be experienced when outside AAA Washington/Inland's territory.

Also, due to size of some RVs, not all AAA contract stations are capable of providing tire changing, towing, and winching service.

Service outside AAA Washington/Inland's territory is provided according to the rules and regulations of the AAA/CAA club in whose territory the disablement occurs.

"Sign and drive" service may not be available for recreational type vehicles or trailers when traveling out of AAA Washington/Inland's service area. If unable to obtain service on "sign and drive" basis, reimbursement will be made at a reasonable commercial rate.

Note: The enhanced services of AAA Plus and AAA Plus RV apply to the first four calls each membership year.
