If you want to see Alaska in full summer-wildlife glory, this is the time to cruise. Sail from Seattle for a day at sea, followed by a day in Ketchikan. Tracy Arm Fjord scenic cruising is next, followed by a day exploring the gold-rush city of Skagway. Sitka offers a mingling of Tlingit and Russian histories and cultures. Spend the day in Alaska’s capital city of Juneau, where only a few miles outside of town, you can stand in the shadow of the massive Mendenhall Glacier. Finally, spend an evening discovering the Inner Harbour of quaint Victoria, British Columbia, before returning to Seattle to end your voyage.
